View Full Version : Duplicate magic sites?

In a SP game, I searched a province with my pretender (4W 5S) and a mage (1A 1W 2N). Next turn, I get the message telling me that they found two sites EACH. So I click on the province, and lo and behold, there are four sites: Farm of Plenty, Whispering Woods, and TWO Crystal Gardens.

Now, I haven't yet checked if I get income for two gardens, but shouldn't magical sites be unique in a province?

Not necessarily. Having two of the same common site is not at all unusual, and I haven't even played Dom2 all that much compared to the vets here. The best I've seen is 3 Arenas in the same province, and I did get income from all of them.

Funny. This is the first time I've seen that happen. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Heh. My worst was 2 libraries - kinda useless, but certainly better than having, say, 2 or 4 of the _bad_ sites. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Multiple farms are pretty darn common, too.

Multiple free kelps in a water province is also very common. But that nicely stacks.

I've actually found duplicate fortresses in one province. Kind of bizarre, dont know what that does, never had one (all???) of them besieged.
