View Full Version : Multiple --hosttime not possible for server?

Is there a way to tell the server to host a turn on specific days? --hosttime only seems to work for ONE day. So far I tried:

--hosttime X Y X Y (ignores the second set of X and Y.)

--hosttime X Y --hosttime X Y (only takes the second hosttime and arguments.)

I don't know if I'm missing something, or if this is intentional. But if it's true, then maybe this would be a nice addition for the 2.14 patch. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

For what it is worth, this was my findings, too --- and why I scrapped hsottime when the server pages were built.

Thanks Esben. I thought I was going crazy...

This line set times to 3 times a week (22:00). It works perfectly fine for me at least.

dom2 --hosttime 0 22 --hosttime 2 22 --hosttime 4 22

You cannot have multiple times on the same day.

That never occured to me as the reason. If course, to test it, I had my hosting time really close http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Hmmm but if someone DID want to they could probably script it from outside Dom2 as a "process and quit" call?
