The nations play so differently that its a whole new book for each of the 17 nations (soon to be 18).

What is that supposed to mean? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/eek.gif

I dont want to hijack this thread too much.

If you mean each needing a book then the easiest answer is to go to the shrapnelgames.com pages and grab the demo.

If you mean the soon-to-be-18 then the answer is that Kristoffer is working on a new water nation

It's been a rumor for a while now. I thought it was just supposed to be a new Atlantis theme.

Could be it's a new Atlatis theme, but could be a new nation entirely. According to the descriptions of mermen and tritons, they aren't exactly on good terms with the Atlanteans, who did to them what R'lyeh did to Atlantis. Now, the Aboleth theme for R'lyeh that was once mentioned, that I would like to see after we get the Oceanians...

A long time ago some screenshots of Kristoffer's work were shown. On the screen seen on it there were graphics for something what seemed to be Pangaea-mermen-hybrids (to me). If you download the AllView -map and check the Last 100 or so units you will find some of them, or atleast that's what I recall.

Its not really much of a rumor. Kristoffer posted on it awhile back.

He might have changed his mind on some of it since then. So maybe it could be "downgraded" to a rumor. But there are various Posts and images available on it.

Yeah with the horrendous paths and it being all databased anyway, Im surprised that the makers of this forum software dont add a "TinyURL" feature. I use TinyURL.com all the time when I want to post monstrous links such as google searches
