How far have you gotten in the P&N mod with the freighter?

I saved up by finding components and haulling TR fighters from terra to other systems. Then I snuck into amonkorie space and bought an amonkorie crusier. I wanted to do something that I hadn't done in the stock game.

my self I have gone from freighter to Battleship, altho the freighter was "well" armed http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif I was taking out BS all over the place

The Abbidon Battleship is quite roomy.

Especially nice when tricked out with 12 Autofire weapons, but you'll need a quantum reactor or two to power them all http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

No reason you can't use torps and missiles...
Its just that the reload time and potential for friendly fire is so much greater that you have to fire them manually.

But in doing so you need to take out armor or sheilds if you want all guns loaded or real week armor

A pair of plasma capacitors instead of piles of reactors will go a long way towards keeping your weapons fed.

Shield regenerators are important too. Even 100 shield points goes a long way with +2 regen behind them.

Nothing wrong with it, just that a Lvl 1 reactor puts out the same as a Lvl 20 one and takes the same to knock it out...just woundering http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
