I live in South-West-Norway and ordered Dominions II on October 24th, Global Priority. "Delivery Time 3-7 days".
Well, now it's November the ninth -about 14 days after my order- and I still haven't received it. So here's a question to Scandinavians/Europeans: How long did it take for your copy to reach you?
And if my order might be missing, where should I inquire about it? I haven't paid for it yet as I'll pay using Money Order once I receive it, but hey, I'd like to play my game anytime soon!

Well, I'm not scandinavian/european, but didnt your order come with a tracking number? I thought that was common practice with most large shipping companies nowadays.

It came with a tracking number, but the "tracking" page only shows what I ordered, when I ordered it, and where I live. It says nothing about where the game is right now.
Thanks, archaeolept.

It doesn't mention the date the game was shipped? It may not have been shipped yet then.
I know that when I ordered mine (in the USA) I was rather upset and unhappy, because it took over two weeks to arrive. I was on the verge of talking to Boy George and having the draft reinstated to include foreign citizens and having everyone with Shrapnel and Illwinter sent to Iraq. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
Of course - post Nov 2, that isn't so funny an idea.

I live in northern parts of Sweden and for me it took about a week, six days i think to get the game. Im pretty sure that you can see if the game has been shipped or not at the "tracking page" so i suggest you go and have another look at it.

Yeah, I thought it would arrive sometime this week. "Luckily" a non-work meeting for Last Friday was rescheduled to yesterday (so I had reserved Friday as a day off from work) and my wife and kids weren't home until evening... You may guess what I did Last Friday all day long after the postman had woken me in the morning (and Saturday and Sunday too) http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I asked them and they went "we haven't received payment yet"... HUH?! What kind of companty expect money orders BEFORE the customer gets what he ordered? Never happened to me before.

Huh too ... ALL companies get paid before shipping to individual customers ! Try to get to any shop, and to take a product back home without paying ... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Never used money orders though, credit cards are so simpler http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Rather new on ordering through the Net, are you :p
Paying the purchase in advance is the standard when ordering via the Internet, *especially* if you order outside your country. Still, if you did pay and not recieve what you ordered you could contact your credit-card company and cancel the payment. Exactly the reason why I like to order early in a month, that gives me maximum time to check that I do recieve what I have ordered http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/cool.gif
I never had had any problems when ordering through the Net, even though I have always paid in advance. However Shrapnel made an exception to my expectations for having super-fast service http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Well, here in Norway we're used to getting this money order for the company attached to what we order. Then we just fill in our account number and sign it and take it to the bank. That's how it's always worked when you ordered something from a domestic company and had it sent to the mail.
Guess we're spoiled;).
