DNS should be working again:
zombie.dyndns.org
for games I am hosting.
Current i.p. address is 69.201.103.35, if zombie.dyndns still does not work.

I am playing in the 'Zombie' game. I see that the hosting time has been set back a day. Is this a 'soft' time, i.e. you are just waiting for everyone to issue orders, and then we go back to normal (i.e. quickhost now and next host tomorrow) or is it 'hard' (i.e. no hosting before tomorrow)

The Karan game is still on quickhost; I just suspended the timer for today due to the problem with my dynamic DNS.
The Cradle game's Friday hosting was skipped; the next turn will not generate till 9 pm Saturday (E.S.T.)

All Zombie games are temporarily suspended (Karan 36QH, DeceleratingCradle, Fat Obstreperous Jerks). The host computer sort of blew up during a power outage. Am working on fixing it; hope to have it up soon.

Thanks for the notice! Do you, by any chance, know whether the Fat_obstreperous_Jerks game did host before the crash? It was scheduled to host around that time when you posted your message here (give and take 30mins).
I only uploaded a partially done turn due to a busy weekend, so I would like to take the chance in order to complete my turn if it did not host so far. So if you restart the game, please do not host manually! Thank you!

I did not get a chance to take my turn in 'Zombie' (Decelerating Cradle) You will not host at once, right? I have the turn ready, it is just a matter of uploading it.

Correct. Once the server is up and running, you will have the full hosting interval before any hosting occurs.

With any luck, all Zombie-hosted games will be up later tonight, or tomorrow evening.
Had to re-install Windows...

Just wanted to say that I very much appreciate your hosting all these games
for all of us. Thanks, Reverend!

Thanks, Petar!
My earlier estimate may have been overly-optimistic. I am still working out some driver issues due to the re-install.
I'll post in each game's thread when it is up and running again.

Thanks from me as well for your hosting! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/cool.gif
- And do not rush with your reinstall! It's nice to have your server at all so no one can complain about a little downtime...!

The server and all games should be up and running now--same ports as before.
Chazar, I will try to get that file to you tomorrow.

Incidentally - new IP address for the server. Zombie.dyndns.org now resolves to 69.201.96.29 - if you had been using the hard-coded IP address due to dns issue, you'll either want to change it, or go back to using zombie.dyndns.org.

Err, was the server updated to 2.15 by the reinstall? My preference would be 2.14, but I do not really mind otherwise. I just want to ensure that I am running the correct version...
JJ_colorado has connection problems. I can connect just fine. Anyone else (in other games)?

No, the server is still running 2.14, I think.

I've got connection problems...what is the current IP? I still get 69.201.96.29 for zombie.dyndns.org...
Reverend Zombie

yes, ip is 69.201.96.29
I do not think it was a DNS problem.
One of the games had caused a "nagot" message; I've rebooted and the games are up again, I hope we do not have this problem again.

Is there a problem with the games? I can ping the server, but I cannot connect
to either of the games in which I am participating.

The server has been rebooted and all games reset with the full alotment of time for the current turn.
Please try reconnecting.
