One of my colleagues was eating mussels today. According to the smell, those mussels must have been out of the water for way too long. I hope he fares well and that keeping the windows open will make the building usabale again next monday... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/Sick.gif

What if I would cast twiceborn on a clam. If the clam then dies, will I obtain an undead clam? Will it produce death gems afterwards?

Sure. It will also spread diseases, and make random commanders in the same
province leave your employ. It will also negate any life scales in the province
and give a bonus to bloodhunting...

I believe the clam turns into a wight clam which can't move in battle. Also you do not get death gems... you get the extremely rare unholy gems! Yes these gems really do exist yet they don't do anything in the current patch.

The holy and unholy gems will most likely be part of Dominions_3.

What a great timing for 666 posts.

I wonder, should casting twiceborn should work on fish? With their spawn-breeding they weren't technically born the first time, so how can they be born a second time?

Gosh, Twiceborn only affect the caster...so I need cast Gift of Reason on the Clam first and then empower it in Death Magic before it can cast Twiceborn on itself, which will only yield a standard wight mage as with everything else... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

(I like the idea of the disease and nausea spreading undead clam! Useless Unholy gems are not so useless: Collect many of them and send them to your enemies, so that it will flood their labs - aint there a maximum gem capacity as for items in the lab?)
