If a unique summons gets mind enslaved and ends up as a
"normal" (non-commander) troop, can it be recalled, or must it die first? I notice that mind-enslaved units still retain their title, so I am not sure. Thanks

Afaik it counts as normal Unit and you can Resummon the Unique .
Slightly OT :
You can try to get cheap wraithlords by casting Ghost Riders on your Charm/Hellbind-Heart Squad . That's a Wraith Lord for 5 instead of 40 Deathgems http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Thanks!
But....
Just found out the hard way.
In case anyone wants to know: Mind-Enslaved Unique Summons do not count as dead and will prevent anyone from resummoning that commander ("... but no one answered the call.")
Maybe this too can go to Liga's manual

That's very interesting . I thought they count as dead http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif .

When it said that, was the unit a leader via GoR yet, or not? Maybe while they are enslaved and not GoR'd yet, they can be re-summoned?

In the test I did the unit in question was certifiably *not* GoRed, it was still reduced to its non-commander troop-type status.

And you're sure than nobody else had trumped your summoning?

Positive. I rechecked this as well in a game in which I myself played all the humans, and there were no AIs. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
