A message from Jotunheim in the fall of the 3rd year of the war of the gods
Greetings to the Great Euryale of Pangaea. Nice to see you put your own numerous and fruitfully multiplying humans to good use and already have reached the doorsteps of the Throne of The World. I wonder, if Atlantis still only tends his undersea gardens, if Abysia, still only plays with his fires, if C'tis still ponders if and where to attack ... has anybody seen one of those wonderous flying things from the eastern mountains? At least Vanheim shows some commitment to our common cause: Järnsaxa is very busy keeping Baphomet from stepping over her front doors threshold. Or is she actually occupied with being dead at the moment? Scout reports are sketchy ...

Greetings from Pan.

Doorstep is correct. I managed to get there but was then slapped back and also outflanked. There is a huge AI army sitting on the Throne of the World. I am managing to hold, but I no longer advance. I'm only really able to raid. We'll see what happens on the next turn when I try to defend against a large Marignon army coming my way.

Has my raiding caused Baphomet to direct his forces my way or is everyone seeing large AI armies?

I'm facing mid-sized Marignon armies (under 100) since I began my offensive. Mariginon seems to have seeped into Abysia's lands, so I'm also working to dislodge them there.

Also, would Caelum or Vanhiem be interested in trading me air boosters?

I (caelum) am willing to trade air boosters.
I need either death or fire gems. or plain gold.

I'm a bit short on all of these, how about 40 nature gems (or a treelord's staff)?

Treelord's stuff would be cool.
Tell me what air boosters you want.

Just one of any kind, I already have an A2 mage.

I also need dwarven hammers and earth boosters.
I can offer water/air gems or artifacts in return.

Bwahaha!!! I have... wait a second, did you say artifacts? Like, artifact-artifacts? Er, let me think a second.

... no, the cost of inter-game teleportation is too high. I'm sorry http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

I can also trade astral gems or artifacts, ahhm well, make it items...

BTW,
Marignon's armies wash over me like a tidal wave.
Is everybody facing the same fate?

I'm making slow headway, as long as keep my two choke points guarded they can't raid my core lands.

hehe.
I had to learn the choke points lesson the hard way.
I too have to guard three key provinces to keep from being flooded.

Interesting thing is that one of his armies contained a host of angels. Which are, among other things, fifty percent immune to lightning. turns out they can easily kill (lesser) air elementals.

Rudra died.
This is the second time he is killed.
He died while storming a guard tower of marignon.
Marignon's mages kept blasting him with nasty fire spells (blindness etc) till he dropped down dead.
Hard life (death?) for an SC...

damn.
