I searched but had no luck finding two specific changes I'm looking for my next LAN game.

The first is how to prevent the AI opponents from having starving units since it doesn't know how to handle food supply.

The second is how to set all computer opponents as allies. Would be extra nice if I could do this for an existing game as well.

The small piece of info is I noticed the following website link is bad... even tho it's the first one listed on the sticky for Dominions2 Links under fansites.
http://www.dominionsx.com/ = gone/dead

You can do this with .map commands. Look in the mapedit.pdf provided by IW on how to do this, but I believe its:

#allies (Nationnumber) (Nationnumber)

I don't know if you can do it to existing games or if it's some sort of flag in the working trn or fatherland files.

Try giving computers' national commanders #supplybonus 50, and maybe reduce their gcost and rcost so the computer makes a lot and doesn't need indy comms.

The .map file is only used to create the game, so you will have to restart the game to make all the computer nations ally (or alter the fatherland file, but that's probably not feasible).

About Q#1 : another possibility is to increase supply all across the map, using #supplymult X (with X > 100).

It will apply to everyone, not IA only, but I find it better than nothing - given that anyway supply is rarely a real problem for human players, but rather a nuisance (don't forget to forge/buy some Bags of Wine, to share them properly on your commanders etc ...)
