I was wondering if any changes will be made to those things... I heard something about clams becoming water/nature and that life drain will get "changed". I was wondering if Illwinter will touch the other gem-generators, Mind Duel or the supercombatants or rainbow mages...

I don't have much concrete suggestions myself. Maybe making the MD effect dependent on the diffrences between the mages. Automatic death would only happen if the levels differ greatly. At lower levels the effect could be paralysis and as the level diffrences grow it could become paralysis+mind burn and paralysis+soul slay before the auto-death.

In the Oceania, official mod released with the latest patch (2.16, I think), Clams need WWN. As Oceania is new nation of Dom3, the changes came from there... However, they might have changed since then, or might chance after betatesting starts, whenever that is.

I don't know about the others.
