I am not sure if this is a bug or not, but in setting up a 1989 India/Pak. fight I noticed that whether I purchased a regular, elite, or reserve infantry company they all cost 205pts.
I this an error?

Mmmmmh the reserve cost 206, but the point is that their armaments is nearly the same, that is why probably the cost is also the same.

We'll look into it. At first glance you are correct there should be a big difference in cost between the regular and elite infantry Coys. The Reserve Coy has a different composition. We'll need to dig in to the Regular-Elite a bit to rule out OOB errors

have you checked the morale of the different units. I believe that is a cost multiplier.

As a matter-o-fact experience of elite will come into play, you were all right!
The cost point must be different! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

There was a small code problem there - now fixed.
A small problem as well in that rounding of fractions when adding cost to a unit was not seeing such small add-ons 15.75 (say) from an original base of 15 would round to 15 when returned as an integer.
Now fixed to round up where there is a part fraction in the floating point calc. 15.75 would now return 16, 14.75 would still round down to 14 on conversion back to an integer.
A minor hiccup in the OOB data as well - the M2 Carl Gustav was weapon class 3, it should have been 2. Therefore it did not get the loading for an infantry AT weapon in the cost calculator, and (possibly) it would not be available as a weapon used for anti-armour assaults. That is why the sections with carl gustav were a tad cheaper than they should have been!.

Ok, thanks. So how do we get the fixed OOB, or will it be incorporated in a later release?

Probably in the same patch release as the exe that fixes the cost problems.
Cheers
