This question may have already been asked and answered and I can't find it.

Is SPWW2 also going to be made Windows Compatible?

And then, when the modding team gets round to it, look for the WW1 mod for SPWW2. After all, can't do WW1 without barbed wire.

We will be starting work on WinSPWW2 sometime in the next few of months. I'm not going to issue any specific date. The last time I did it became a topic of converstation all by itself. It is, however, in the planning stages but we are still busy with WinSPMBT ATM

I do not plan to start any conversion till winSPMBT is "solid" as WinSPWW2 will use the same code base. It is not just a simple "data massage" - the WW2 LC code needs porting over, and nations etc, plus unitclasses differ which causes some subtle differences in the code that needs addressing. Also - a lot of MBT stuff needs struck out of MBT so there is no chance of someone adding (say) reactive armour to some Panzer 2, or top-attack ATGM, TI sights etc http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Also - a break from 9 months+ solid work would be a nice thing too !!

So - work on WinSPWW2 will not even start for 2-3 months I would think.

Cheers

I guess, when the game comes out one day, those who want to play it also in high res will have to pay another $35? Or will there be a "retroactive" bundling of some sort?
