I'm just asking if has anyone even planned to do obat about these nations? Or has Red/Green already their equipment?
It could be fun to get whole Latin America's nations into WinMBT, isn't it http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif?

I've been using GREEN for the Mexican forces in my Drug War Campaign. Seems to work very well.

I'd also like to see Venezuela along with other Caribbean forces included. The conflict* around Isla de Alva (if I remembered that name correct) is quite interesting, and Trinidad & Tobago offers some depth to a conflict bwith Venezuela.
More importantly, the tragedy on Haiti's stage has been played for a very long time now, no doubt it has qualified itself for a ranking among conflicts like the Balkan one.
*Venezuela has made a territorial claim on Isla de Alva, denied by the UN and all other Caribbean states. Hugo believes this small island supports human habitation, but this has been denied. Should Venezuela win this claim, its territorial waters will extend over a major part of the Caribbean Ocean. An unarmed conflict that can be subject to imagination and dramatizing.

Haiti is good. Also A Venezualen invasion of Columbia would be interesting to explore. Before President Chavez and his anti-American policy, Venezuelen forces (with US help) had planned to invade Columbia if the FARC / M19 insurgency every over-threw the government.
The manual said, somewhere, that the Green ORBAT is intended for Latin American Forces. I havn't looked at it very much, but if Green does not contain, Rebel / Civilian / Militia forces, you can always use Red as an Ally. FYI..... I think Red Al Qaeda forces would simulate FARC pretty well.

Ok if Green/Red are meant for those nations, so what kind of equipment Haiti has (for example)? If I want to play nation x vs Haiti, what kind of equipment I must choose for AI (until somebody will make "real" obat for it)? And that Venezuela/Colombia equipment would be nice to know too;)...

Crack open a book or research it on the internet. That's how building OOB's is done. If you want to know something sometimes the only way is to dig it out yourself

This is my favorite site. It doesn't have Venezuela, but they are close to Colombia, only not as modern / mechanized. This site also has links to other sites.

I project a "South American Pack" in the future, after the new Viet War Pack. Perhaps after a "Middle East Wars Pack", an "Afghan Wars Pack", a "1979-2020 Persian Gulf Pack" etc... A lot of searches and work ! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
Best regards

Cool Laurent! Nice to know that! Btw, when your Viet War Pack is ready? Do you make it similar as "original" version in dos-MBT (many different orbats for each participants of Vietnam War)?
PS. "Middle East/Agfan Wars/Persian Gulf Packs" sounds cool too! More equipment/units for each participants I suppose?
Keep up good work;)
