View Full Version : Australian Obat icon query

After a cursor browse through the Australian Obat, I have the following queries:
Units 040, 041, ASLAV-25: It has Icon 1774 as the default icon, yet #1775 is available in desert colours? Is the Australian Army just reluctant to change its colours?
Units 232, 233, 263, 264, ASLAV: Ditto for above, but the icons in question here are 1937 and 1938.
Unit 265 Bushmaster: The icon for this 2951 looks to me like either a White Scout Car or a M3 1/2 track. Is there a more appropriate icon in there somewhere?
cheers

There aren't yet. Sorry, but not everything can be done at once http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
Don and Andy already issued some marvellous new icons with WinSPMBT, but these things take time. Doing a Bushmaster from scratch is no easy task.
Anyway you still can browse through the icon list to find something more suitable as interim. Maybe the South-African Wolf (#2031) could look more like it?

I had a project of upgrading the Piranha/LAV icons and adding camo variants, which interest you revive quite much, Luke.
So right now I have finished an ASLAV-25, along with a LAV-25 in CARC camo. I will release that sometime when I have enough to make a decent bundle; an ASLAV-PC and ASLAV-S could help, right?
Oh, any info about the fielding of further LAV variants? Like, will the ASLAV-25 TOW see service? or any other ATGM version? SP mortars? Or what about the LAV-III?

Thats great, Plasma, regarding the ASLAV icons! I will check out the Wolf, but failing that, I will get down to it and draft a Bushmaster icon. They are made up the road from me, so if I can, I will try to get an overhead photo from the manufacturer.

Try 680 for the Bushmaster. The other issues have been corrected in the patch
