View Full Version : TFW doesn't work

I have just recieved The Falkland Wars from Naval Warfare and installed it in two diferent computers, one with XP and in other with Windows 98. When I try to play the tutorial or any other scenario the game hangs on and I have to finish it with the Task Administrator. I have tried it several times but the result is always the same.
Any idea?.

Sorry to hear you are having problems. What are your graphics currently set at?

I have changed my graphics resolution from 32 to 16 bits, but It doesn`t work.

Enrique,

This is not a problem we came across during the beta test. Does the game hang up when you try to select a scenario or does it hang up when you are playing a scenario?

Enrique,

Do you have a firewall running? If so, try "allowing" traffic with TFW. When it starts, it checks the ProSIM homepage for updates. This may be conflicting with your firewall.

Barring this, if you do not have a broadband internet connection that is always on, you might try dialing into the internet BEFORE starting TFW.
