The trigat (from MDBA) missile was simply cancelled, if I'm not wrong, you can delete it on french and west german oob.

Any cite to add veracity to this - e.g. the manufacturer's web site, Jane's etc?.

Cheers

I didn't find any cite in english, but there is a quote form the french Senate,
(...), votre rapporteur constate qu'après l'abandon du missile antichar Trigat moyenne portée , y compris dans la version nationale Trigan proposée par l'industriel6(*) , (...)

Here is the adress:
http://www.senat.fr/rap/a04-077-6/a04-077-6_mono.html#toc81
sorry, everything is in french, but the translation shouldn't be too hard...

Loktarr, watch out what you are reading first, I just noticed that your quote here was about the TRIGAT-MR only:
qu'après l'abandon du missile antichar Trigat moyenne portée

That was the medium-range version meant to replace the Milan all over Europe. Even the low-cost TRIGAN (modified TRIGAT-MR missile launcher from a Milan assembly) has been cancelled in France.

However, the TRIGAT-LR is still planned for the Tiger HAC/PAH/HAD for France, Germany and Spain. The UK are still part of the program although they don't seem likely to procure any.
Look at http://www.army-technology.com/projects/lr_trigat/ and http://www.army-technology.com/projects/mr_trigat/

OK, sorry, I didn't realize that it concerned only one of the two version (the land one in fact who coud have replaced the Milan). Excuse me for that useless and false post...
