View Full Version : Using aircraft combat on the map (tip)

For those that would need combat aircraft manipulables on the map with authentic sound and 2 levels of height of flight, there is tip :

Under Mobhack:

1-Copy any plane of fight in the past buffer of your oob
2-Past in a place empty of your oob
3-in the compartment "sound", register "201" (if it is a plane with reaction for planes to helix, look even yourselves for the check N ° in the repertoire " sound " of the game)
4-Change the " class " of the plane (use the class " hélicos of attack = 203)
5- X 4 the level " speed "


Your new map planes will keep their original icons, the noise of jet plane, but theywill be freely manipulable by yourself on the mapwith 3 heights of flight.

You will find it in the section Misc (hélicos attack) of the screen of purchase and neither in the screen air(sight) strike, here is everything.

Which goes completely outside the design paradigm of fixed wing air in the game. You have simply created a new helicopter class (and the code will treat it as a helo and not strike air for various purposes). The AI will happily "hover" your jet fighters, for example. They will use helicopter evasive routines, and the weapons types (class 11) will need work, for the gun type ones, and then the cannon multiplier will not work eiter, most likely.

I still wonder about useing a single High Altitude Helo (Seed 0) with good vision as an RPV...
