Are .BMP screenshot files acceptable for AAR's?

Hi ,

I'm preparing to begin an AAR here on a scenerio. I need to know if the raw .bmp files (screenshots) will work in this format. If not,can any one recommend software that will save the file as .jpg in order to reduce space.

Irfanview - it can view many types of file inc LBM http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif and also save as other formats, though not as LBM http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif, and you can do simple cropping etc:

I use Irfanview on occasion as well. Take the screenshots as bmp then open, covert and resave as jpeg's.
