This is officially the most horrible list of affflictions I have seen. This guy should really inspire confidence in the worshipers.

That's bad. Not as bad as the critter that got autogenerated in one of IW's test games, but that's almost as impressive. What type of undead is it?

That's the funny thing. He's not undead (although I don't see how without a head). He a Tien Chi Celestial Master. Pic attached.

I was expecting him to be cursed as well as horror marked.

Lots of battles. He is the top hero in my sp game that is at turn 145 now. I have to assume that the game just can't deal with somebody that survives that many battles, and has kind of cracked up http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

You might try giving him a Ring of Regeneration http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Interesting... I had two commanders that became immortals after picking up too many afflictions, so maybe yours has been "suffering" from the same problem? (Mine were Black Sorcerers with Fire Shield and Invulnerability)

Actually, a Ring of Regeneration might not do it, you may have to try Gift of Health.

I won't be surprised that it's a fun feature wanted by the devs : anyone still alive after 8 or 10 afflictions deserve becoming immortal ! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

It wasn't the limited immortality of the Immortals, but true immortality: two of my commanders simply couldn't be killed - at all. The only way of getting them to die was by making it impossible for them to retreat, though killing them via Fires from Afar would have worked too, I think.

I have thought of sending him into hopeless battles just to try and kill him, so I can create a new prophet, but honestly, I don't think he would ever die. He'll just end up looking like the Black Knight from the Holy Grail. "C'mon, I'll bite your kneecaps!"

Except he doesn't even have a head to bite them with.
"You, coward! Come back here so I can bleed on you!"

That is classic! It really does seem like something out of a Monty Python skit. I have to laugh just thinking about how his army must have to wheel him into battle tied on a cart or some such. I think that the T'ien Ch'i in your world now have a new metaphor for bad luck: Cai-shen.

I notice he's in the HoF, what's his heroic ability? Surprised nobody's asked... But really, that's just an insane stack of injuries (and an insult to boot re the lost head!)

His heroic ability? Lightning Reflexes... lol. He twitches really fast.
I keep him in a cabinet in my keep now. I put the Chalice in there with him, but it does not seem to have any effect. This has seemed to keep him from getting any more afflictions though.

Simply amazing.
But...I'm a stoopid newbie. How can I see the 'battle wounds' for my fellows?
