Hi,
I am in the deployment turn in a new PBEM game where I cant seem to cancel any artillery all ready assigned. Does any one know a 'cure' for this problem?

Yes, install the patch when it's released this week
46) A bug where a fire mission could not be cancelled has been fixed.
The entire list of changes is posted at the top of the forum in the thread "WinSPMBT version 2.0 upgrade patch "

PBEM - Nope, as we say in the patch installer help, finish all existing PBEM first, before installing the patch. There will be OOB changes, so these will cause CRC errors in existing secure PBEM games
Scenarios - should not be a problem. We have checked the scenarios to ensure no problems with icons, and weapons etc.
Existing games - ditto. Though in an ongoing camaign game, you may find that due to OOB changes after an upgrade or repair that new or 100% rebuilt units may well have different statistics from the same thing in your original core.
But the main thing is ongoing PBEM - always finish off or abandon ongoing PBEM when there is a patch upgrade.
The 2.0 patch release will have Basic security PBEM (item No 57) - in future, that will not apply to any ongoing PBEM games in Basic mode only, since it has no CRC checking of the 2 players OOBS.
(Details on Basic secure PBEM will be in the Playing by Email(PBEM) section of the game manual as updated for version 2.0.)
Cheers
Andy
