IMPORTANT NOTE:
The following example is based on a TOPO MAP with COPYRIGHT, so I can't present you the topo map that I used to make this SP map.*****

Hi,

this is how to make an accurate topo map (this could take several days).
First you start by editing a clear map and putting coordinates every one (1) Km.
Look at the picture:

Next task is to transfer the elevations from the topo map to your SP map. This is the most difficult task and requires knowledge how to read a topographic map and keeping track of the coordinates:

Next will be the addition of water elements, dense forest and light forest, rough in four stages, but I will present you the final stage:

After several re-visions if you are good you will get a result like this one:

I use the same technique http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif.
When making my big scenarios in SPWaW I used the grid numbers.
