Since the 2.0 patch I've played ~6 assault games vs. the AI in the long campain in the 2010-2015 timeframe and I have not seen a single landmine, strand of barb wire or dragons tooth.

This is playing as Australia vs Russia & Sweeden and Iraq.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Are you having nations that signed the Ottawa treaty stopping their use?

Thanks
Ian

IanWilliams, this is interesting. What evils must these nations have done to have brought forth the wraith of Australia... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/fear.gif Perhaps it may have to do with the defense budget? If those marked countries do not have much to spend, they may opt for other things than defensive obstacles. It does seem odd, though. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

That is a BUG - somewhere along the line, something subtle dropped the mine points the AI bought quite correctly in the buy routine, and only in the long campaign.

Code now appears fixed, once I found where it was dropping the mine points.
