Does anyone of you knows how to set up a dominions2-specific wiki ?
I can use a wiki well enough (started the dom2 entry on wikipedia) but i am complete without a clue at how to start my own wiki. Do i need my own server or are there public wiki servers ?

The reason is that i like the few existing nation guides so much that i will start a guide for every dom2 nation (and theme) (and some mods...). But i feel that wikipedia is maybe not the right place for such a project.

Any ideas where to look ?

To run your own wiki, you would need your own webserver. IIRC a wiki is just a program that sort of sits on top of your existing webserver (like apache) and allows people to interactively modify the webpages hosted on that machine.

As for public servers, yes there are. I dont really know any one from the other - just run a google search on "wiki hosting" and it will come up a couple for you.

Dominions Wiki has already been started. It is still linked to from dominions-2.org , but nothing is found... It was never very active.

The problem with Arryn's Dom2-Wiki is that it requires a login, which increases the threshold for people to participate. Furthermore, I remember that I could not register either due to a technical glitch (probably corrected by now - see Post#330813 (http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/threads/showthreaded.php?Number=330813)).
