Will there ever be an option to download WW after a purchase instead of waiting for a shipment?

They'd have my money right now if they offered a d/l option.. like the original. It's beyond me why they don't?

It looks like they switched publishers. Last time it was Cheap *** Games, this time it's Shrapnel Games.

Anyway, I'm in the same boat as you. Once there's a download option, I'll buy. Until then, I wait.

In all fairness, my shipment arrived awfully fast... within a couple of days.

If they announced that they were going to release the game as a paid download one week from today, would you buy it and download it then?

'cause if you order it right now, you'll probably have it in your hands sooner than that (five days to deliver a long way around the world, in my case).

Sure you pay for physical postage, but that's a few dollars at most. If they do offer it for download, I think you'll find it will not happen in a big hurry, so if you want the game sooner rather than later, the postage is a really minimal premium to pay.

mojofraggle: SAIS is available as a paid download now, but it took many months before that option became available, so in actual fact this situation is "like the original".

Actually, you don't even necessarily pay for physical postage -- Shrapnel offers free shipping in the US.

I have several reasons.. from Environmental concerns to the postman in my area who frequently distributes mail to the wrong address.. Regardless, I'll buy it when it's available for d/l..

Just want to say thanks for adding a purchase & download option. I purchased my copy yesterday, and I'm greatly enjoying the game!

i'll second that. I had some initial trouble with the download, but fast and friendly tech support cleared it right up. an on a weekend, too.
