Hey,

Not sure if this should go here or the mod forum but the mod forum looks like it's only for completed stuff, so I'm going to post here.

Anyone had any look adding fighter bays to custom ships? For me the game crashes just after you hit continue on the briefing screen.

The stderr.txt just contains 'segmentation fault: sdl parachute deployed' which looks to me like a fairly generic 'oops, didn't expect that' error from the game.

Are there any other forums out there for Weird Worlds?

It's certainly possible to make new ships with fighter bays. What exactly did you do that caused it to start crashing? Does the crash go away if you remove the fighter bay?

and are you putting the fighter bay in a weapon slot, or a fighter bay slot?

Thanks for the replies, managed to figure it out. It appears there is a maximum number of things (systems, weapons, etc) that a ship can have and the fighter bay was the one that pushed it over the edge.

So I just removed one of the other systems and it works fine now!
