..always remember to EQUIP the anti grav shunt BEFORE jumping into the hole.
That is all.
(..I had two multimissles, a PVC, reactionless thrusters and a Zorg helmsman..)

And try really hard to remember to double-check before you go jumping in to make sure that it really is installed, in case that Anti-Graviton Shunt was actually in the *last* game, not this one...
I feel your pain. I had beaten the freaking Kawangi, man. They fell before the Furies, and I probably could have taken them without it (okay, MAYBE I could have). I was loaded for bear, and optimizing points, and the black hole just... slurped me up.

Does anybody know the rhyme or reason for which black hole you come out of when you're exploring a wormhole? I thought at first that they were two sided but it seems like more than one of them like to come out at the same black hole sometimes, although that might be when they're odd numbered.
One time on a small map there seemed to be only one black hole so it flushed me down and then I came right back up from the same one.

I did this not once but twice in recent times! :/
The first was major stupidity -- my brain got D... and P... confused, and I willingly and suicidally leapt into a black hole in search of entirely the wrong thing http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
A couple of games later I did the 'GS in my cargo bay but not equipped' trick.
D'oh.

Rocky, I think it rolls randomly each time. I did a fair amount of testing, and that's the conclusion I came to -- I did not find a pattern in the emergences. If you have the hyperdrive or Zorg Helmsman and the Anti-Graviton Shunt, it's worth wormholing around once you have cleared the map for the extra points.

It was on the Mutikan cruiser that had been lost in the last space battle...

I have yet to find a wormhole. Do you just jump in any black hole?

After you've explored a blackhole, remain there and hover the mouse over the blackhole as you would a system you'd like to mirror or jump to. Note the choices of "Enter" and "View".

right, the ability to "enter" a blackhole and come out of another one is what people are talking about, when they say "wormhole"
