I know, I know, the Ia Drang LZ-X Ray has already been done in a fine scenario by WUlfir and a great campaign by Pyros and his team.

Still, I wanted to do it. And I did.

Actually there are two scenarios, the larger battle and then the fight to rescue 2nd Platoon, B Company near the streambed.

This is a quick rundown of the fighting to keep Sergeant Savage and his men.

This graphic shows the initial setup with 2nd Platoon in hot pursuit of the NVA scouts and the rest of Captain Herren's company following behind.

It was a hard fight. The NVA were on the airmobile like white on rice.

This is the platoon that was largely saved. They fought hard.
