As some people have said, the AI can often be a tad easy to beat. While I'm sure that to see a marked improvement the intelligence routines would need some work, I'm sure they can also benefit from more time to think.

Every chess game under the sun has an "AI think time" setting, simply because the more time an AI has to consider moves, the more possibilities it can consider, and thus the stronger a game it can put up. For some reason, this sort of setting doesn't appear in turn based computer games, even though their AIs are doing little more than a chess computer, studying different possibilities and selecting the one that scores the most points.

Depending on how the AI in this game thinks, I bet it would benefit from more time, and I'd love to see such a setting available. Right now the AI completes its thinking in five seconds, but people are prepared to wait much longer against a human, so why limit the AI so? Let people tell the computer how long they will wait for.
