View Full Version : A scoring question

Often I have more loot than I have cargo room, but I have enough time to ship some of it home and leave it at home port (The "Glory" system, in the unmodded game).

Question is: If I have a bunch of coins at Glory from such, does this add to my score?

Follow-up question: Does it add to my score to have a Denebian bank account (i.e., coins credit somewhere other than Glory)?

Thanks,

PvK

Nope, and nope. It's gotta be in your cargo or on your ships.

Tips for increasing score -

If you have time, make sure that nothing with high coin values is left at any of the other races homeworlds. I usually play medium and large maps, and in practice this means they are full of ones and twos.

Make sure you get the most out of the Klakar. One-coins in their ship and on their homeworld.

Peruasal of the .ini files will give you the insight that four coins are usually better than two two coins. Sometimes I will trade ship systems off to get bigger coin items - like three two-coin systems for the two three-coin weapons you find on Glory in the frigate game.

It would be cool if doing that added to your Diplomacy score.

That's a good suggestion for the Eels…
