Hopefully this won't be a competition or lead to a balance thread. Just curious on what most gamers are currently using for their Dominions2 games.

Why CB 5.0?
There is already CB 5.2 and it has a ton of changes compared to CB 5.0.
CB 5.0 is already since at least 3-4 months obsolete iirc.

I think most of us are just assuming by CB 5.0 he means the latest version of CB

correct... the most recent version.
I grabbed the title of the thread from the multiplayer forum... since not everyone using CB will have ver-5.2
it would have been better if I listed the version as 5.X instead of zero. I don't think it will make much difference.

I have only played one MP game, it was without mods. If I were to play more, I'd have quite a lot of mods in use. CB probably, if the others wanted.

I think the latest patch of the game and the latest CB is basically standard practice

Define "other MODs". We talkin' only full-on nation conversions, or do minor tweaks count? How about UI alterations that don't actually change gameplay?

Any mods which change the units, spells, nations, items, provinces, etc., . Basically anything which could change game decisions.

Most of my solo games use AI boosts that are map-based, not mod based
