The mod is CB 5.2, it's turn 23ish, I'm playing base Man with a VQ.
I'm about to be attacked by Caelum who might be spamming false horrors and I need some ideas on how to take them down.

They got pretty heavily nerfed in CB. Maybe just set up some good bodyguards with a relatively high attack. I think they go down in one hit because they are illusions, right?

Arrows set to fire fliers. False horrors have neither any HP nor armor and will be mowed down like wheat.

Are CB false horrors cold-immune? Breath of Winter should be even more effective than Fire Shield.

and the classic fire shield...
false horrors aren't so effective anymore - i'd be more worried of lightning spam personally

According to the documentation, the spell costs 20 more fatigue (went from 10 to 30) but the false horrors themselves arn't any different. They do only have 1 hp, though.

Well they are ethereal, and their defense is 16. Plus if you are fighting caelum, there are a lot of fliers to target.
The best counter I've heard of is a horror marked commander with a charcoal shield (or fire shield). I think false horrors are still attracted to horror marked. Also make sure the commander has a high mr (amulet of magic resistance) since false horrors attacks are resisted.
Of course, you might not be able to field this...
Blade wind is another good counter. If you have some astral, any 100 precision cheap fatigue spell will help.
