UK - Chieftain Ammo - No HEAT rounds

I just read Chieftain by Rob Griffin and it makes no mention of a HEAT round for the Chieftain. It does mention HESH but the armour penetration (Really doesn't penetrate at all) is classified so no data was given. Is the HEAT listed for the Chieftain meant to be HESH? By the way HESH is a slow round so not the best for moving targets.

HESH is a HE round that has AT abilities.

Seeing as SPMBT can't model HESH, the Designers give the UK tanks A heat warhead and a HE warhead, to represent both capabilities of the ammo.

I guess it works. I just wondered why they had HEAT for UK and now I know. Thanks

From the Mobhack interface, just besides the "HEAT Penetration" box on the Weapons page, syou should see "HEAT also covers HESH ammo".

I never thought of looking in Mobhack. Haven't used it. I am sure if <font color="red"> I </font> open it the game will stop working. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif
