I've noticed that you cannot place ammo containers in buildings during deployment. Can this be changed? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

Good question!
No need for modification of the code
During deployment phase,
i) The closest thing to do is to buy ammo cannister and pack mules.
ii) Load the ammo cannisters inside the pack mules
iii) Place the pack mules on a building hex
iv) Unload the pack mules

I wish a had more time to analyze an advanced method based on reverse engineering, perhaps another time.

Since all ammo units are "ammo carrier" class, then they are vehicles. An ammo container is simply a special case of a speed 0 ammo carrier of a certain weight and crew count.
Vehicles are not allowed to be set up in buildings.
