Interesting you should ask this question right now. We are in negotiations with a distributor and alot will depend on Europe. Our plans have always been to release around June of 2000. We are pretty much on track for that timeframe, but I don't want to start making promises until I firm up timing with the distribution network.

Stop in from time to time and we can talk wargames...

Hi Tim
(and Scott)
I'm just checking things out and patiently waiting for the sequel to 101st http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif
I still didn't forget about that idea you had Tim for doing a game about snipers.

A game about snipers? Isn't that called Rogue Spear (just kidding http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon12.gif).

Hmm that would be a cool idea, espeically in the Vietnam Theater of Operations...

A sniper game? That would rock! Would we get to play Charles Whitman and Lee Harvey Oswald? http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

Have fun,

I second the question!

Having just preordered my copy of ALL AMERICAN, can I expect to see it early this summer?

Any news is welcome.

Press release tomorrow, 14th, then come here to discuss. I will be available tomorrow to answer any questions right here...

Sorry for the delay guys. We are overworked and understaffed and alot of really positive things are happening. I know it sounds like an excuse, but my priorities are:

1. Customers service of products already released.
2. Customer service of new orders.
3. Customer service of products "coming soon".

Well, you get the idea. Check out our front page in the morning or almost any gaming news site...

Thanks for your patience.

Hmm... I come here to see what everyone else has come to see: "Where is it? What's going on?" And I see portentious remarks by Tim scheduled for manana.

Sounds like it could be good, Tim. I really hope so. I think that with all I've heard regarding your enhancements for the game, this can be a really good'un.

And WHAT'S the deal with me getting "busted" down to mere "Enlisted". Hell, I'd worked my way up to Sergeant. Is that indicative of my reception now in this man's army? http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon12.gif

Hi Mark:

Naw, the enlisted thing came about with the bulletin board upgrade (had you noticed we'd upgraded). All my hacks were overwritten. I'll get back to it one day and put them back in hopefully.

Stuff, I suppose you have to look at the funny side. I had just decided to pre-order the game over the weekend. Purchased 101st in the weekend - bloody good game. Looking forward to the release of this one - however late it may be.

Though, it is good to see Shrapnel is doing so well.

Nik (who has too many war games to play at the moment anyhow - can you get too many???)

Mark Sterner

Alright you Goat! If you think I'm gonna let you "refund" my pre-order for AA, you're outta your gourd. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon12.gif

You've got something up your sleeve, and I've waited long and patiently for AA and I intend to see it through, even if it falls through. As I told one of you fellas, even if the game was never released, it is my contribution to excellence, and is money well-spent.

So, Timmy my lad, keep my pre-order on file and send when ready. I suspect you'll have a better deal than you initially envisioned...

Best,

Mark (and restore my rank!)

Hi Mark:

Thanks for the support! We are finishing All American and I think you will be pleased as we are keeping what we have and adding features that you guys have asked for - unlike many "sequels" where they throw out everything and leave you with a totally "different" (and usually worse) gaming experience.

Will keep your pre-order then! Thanks again for your support...

Tim - I totally understand the delay, in fact, I imagined that was the case. Also, congratulations are definitely in order: it appears your company has really taken off! I'm glad you get to prove the "suits" wrong. I just hope you still have some time to hang out on the Boards http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon12.gif

Thanks for the support. Yea, don't have much time for chatting or even playing games these days. I've turned into a businessman. Just not with the "suits" philosphy...

Actually, I might just go and check the old and very battered visa and pre order - as a vote of confidence.

Hells bells I'm enjoying 101 (plus H&M, Armies of Armageddon, Dragoon...).
