Has any worked up an OOB with the SEAL DPV (Fast Attack Vehicle/Dunebuggy)? I think it would be great as a scout vehicle.

I believe in the British OOB there are the British Light Strike Vehicles which are very similar to the DPV. However, the icon which is used is that of the Mechanical Mule.

I think the SEALs ditched the old FAV/Desert Patrol Vehicle cuz it sucked! It used gas not diesel - a big problem when shipping them around in cargo holds. I think they use the IFAV now, which is made by Mercedes ... like a mini-SUV.

I believe the Marine Corps uses the IFAV, which is the Mercedes G Wagon. It is the Interum Fast Attack Vehicle. They are looking for a hybrid vehicle which can actually fit inside the MV-22. I believe the SEALs are now using a modified HMMWV. The Rangers are also using a HMMVW instead of the Land Rover Defender for their Ground Mobility Vehicle.
