I'm going to be paying an artist to draw my character, Argitoth, the Sauromancer Prophet and... could you post the updated version of the Sauromancer? I want to see the robe they wear. Thanks! Aaand, in case the great Dominions Gods have not updated the Sauromancer or do not honor my request, can one of you pull a screenshot from Dom2? Make sure you take it from the "view unit properties by rightclicking or something" section. That's the biggest version of the pixel art... I would really appreciate it... I don't have the game installed at the moment.

Sorry Kristoffer, ran out of room in the topic.

thank you nerfix! You even took the time to "click, make prophet, click, end turn, click" before you "right click print scrn, Alt+Tab, start, programs, accessories, paint, ctrl+v, save as ninki.jpg, close, click, click, click, upload, click, click, shrapnelcommunity.com/dom3, click, respond, type type type, click, click"!!!! I wonder if the devs will post the updated version, cause if they updated the robe colors then I'll be disappointed that the artist drew the colors that weren't in Dom3.

omg, the description of Sauromancers is ironically close to the description of Argitoth's RP story!! HOLY CRAP IT'S DAMN CLOSE!!!! I never read that description! And I created the RP story long before I knew what a sauromancer was!

The RP story goes like this: in ancient times there was many small tribes of lizardfolk who slowly discovered magic, then they became big clans, then became united into a country hundreds of years later, and were technologically and magically advanced for their time. then time passes, then there is a prophecy of a destruction of the great country of lizardfolk, so the god Argor (their god from the beginning) tells them to prepare for the desctruction of their civilization, so then Argitoth is born who will become one of the most powerful of lizardfolk including Anacor who is Argitoth's twin brother, so both of them are prophets for the God Argor, and so great wars wage between the avatar that controls an army of humans, so the humans under the avatar and argor battle, argor eventually loses and as a god vanishes. the great lizardfolk clan is then scattered, only a few of us left in the way future, after that I haven't made anything up. Maybe one day Argor is reborn?

Didn't you post about the game being too expensive, yet you're willing to pay an artist to draw your Dominions character?
I ponder... multiple personalities or recent lotto winner or comedian

whatever your reasons have fun!

The game *is* too expensive. Paying an artist for art and buying a game are two totally unrelated things. The game will always be too expensive, but I'm buying it anyway, depending on the activity of the community a year after it is released.

Isn't that somewhat of an oxymoron?

I have a feeling that Argitoth is more interested in C'tis than the game. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Well every gamer except pirates will spend money for their enjoyment of Dominions_3. Most gamers will purchase one game... you will be buying one game and a piece of art both which bring enjoyment of the Dominions game. Since the art was inspired from Dominions they are not totally unrelated.

Im still trying to work out some allowances for us as far as game art. Id LIKE for an arrangment where the game name and art can be used in our own CafePress shops http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/sell (http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/sell?pid=2837642), and Shrapnels shop http://www.cafepress.com/shrapnelgames (http://www.cafepress.com/shrapnelgames?pid=2837642) would link to it for commissions on sales.

I have alot of stuff Id like to put on tshirts, mugs, posters, mousepads.. but without some use of the name and logo they come off kinda lame.

Never intended to upset you... just pointing out somewhat of an oxymoron as pointed out by someone else.

HEY PDF, very nice. What's with the hat? What is that on his head? By any chance, does having nature still give you the *disadvantage* of going berserk?
