I have no idea that how can someone make this with flash. I was just "wow" while watching it. Enjoy! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/cool.gif

Google finance uses flash for their stock chart.

That is another pretty cool use for it.

Flash is a great program. I just took a class in ActionScript, the control language built into Flash, and am very pleased with what I could do for the projects.

I didn't really realize until that class how robust the interactivity between Flash and the rest of the web environment can be. I've been planning on playing around with some of the integration possible between different Flash components running in the same web page and the various scripting elements of the page itself. There are a lot of possibilities there!

Hehe, I will try to make a decent flash "banner" for Dominions 3. after the game is out...why then? Because I will need screenshots made by me from the game. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/cool.gif

Examples? Hmm, well, I'll have to look around for specific applications already out there in the Big Wide Internet Ocean, but as far as the raw capabilities are concerned, you can hand data in and out of a Flash module to a waiting JavaScript or the ActionScript inside another Flash module. That means you can do things like have a Flash interface that controls the layout and function of a web page or that controls another Flash movie.

One could do something like have a game environment where you can add new levels/dungeons/whatever just by adding a new Flash module to the system. That could provide some nice flexibility and expandability to the right kind of application.
