View Full Version : How does this magic thing work?

Hello everybody!

I just wondered about one thing:

The previews state that the earlier ages are more about magic and the later ones more about armies.
In Dom 2 it was the other way around, because it took so long to get to the point where summoned SCs with magic weapons would dominate normal armies.
So, has this been changed in some way, or did the previewers get something wrong?

I think they are talking about "Eras", not phases within a single game.

Besides, remember that one turn = one month. So even 2 ages would be 2400 turns. I don't think anyone (except Gandalf, perhaps?) would like to play as long.

Ah, now I get it.

I had the impression that every nation would switch between the different eras during one game. Thanks for making things clear for me http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smirk.gif
