The Osthilfe units are now in German OOB but I thing they should by placed in Rusian OOB as only human buy units because they represents the another vision of Russia without comunism. They were a successors of rusians white army from the civil war times in 1917. This movent should made free many slots in german OOB for another units http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I have a book on ROA/RONA (Blazejos - "Armia Wlasowa" http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Organisation was as in Wehrmacht, except for weaponry. Osttruppen used mainly russian weaponry as they were familiar with it (Mosin rifles, PPS/PPD submachineguns, DP and Maxim MGs, 82mm mortars, 76.2mm infantry guns and 45mm ATGs).

Armour existed only in large units - RONA and ROA had a couple (10-20 ?) T-34s, StuGs and soviet armoured cars.

There was a myriad of Osttruppen formations ("normal" Osttruppen, ROA, RONA, RNNA, RNA, Waffen SS Ukrainan and Belarussian troops, Don Cossacks... the list goes on). Any accurate portrayal is almost impossible - best we can have is to stick to existing Osttruppen, maybe rearm them with more soviet weaponry.

your going to create a whole OBB for a unit that was only a single division and took part in only one battle lasting 3 days.

It's up to you guys, but thats seems like alot of work for something very minor. Considering it was for most of its history existed only on paper for propaganda porposes.

That is one of this things what sounds a very nice for me
<font color="blue">- Estonian OOB</font>
Esti prewar army and than SS and another help units
<font color="blue">- Latvian OOB</font>
The same first prewar army and than SS units as a german ally
<font color="blue">- Lithuanian OOB</font>
The same first prewar army and than Lietuvos Vietine Rinktine (LVR) old lituanian army regenerate under german control and of cours partisants what fight on german side with polish and soviet partisants
<font color="blue">- Ukrainian OOB</font>
Should start in September 1939 when ukrainians create first partisants units what fight first with retraing poles than with Rusians in Rusian ocupation part of prewar poland. Than we should have varius partisants what are on soviet side and UPA what fight with germans than was german ally and fight with polish and soviet partisants than fight with rusians and poles comunists. And of course dont't fdorget about Division SS Galicia
<font color="blue">- ROA OOB</font>
here can be moved all east (Osttruppe) help formation and units and made free many slots in german OOB
