I remember i tried to play WinSPMBT sometime ago,and faced such problem.Situation:my MLRS Smerch in position on a road which crosses a forest.Target noticed inside of this forest, but i cannot attack it with Smerch. Is it real that forests block MLRS fire?Or i just did something wrong?

Forests block Line Of Sight. Sometimes you can see through one forest hex but not through two. So it's quite possible the forest prevent your unit from firing but that's not because its a MLRS, it's the same for all units.

Now if your MLRS did itself have a LOS to the target it is possible the enemy unit was too close. It's possible your MLRS had a MINIMUM range at which it can fire.

But to you give you a complete answer you'd have to give more info; what type of unit exactly? range to target? did the MLRS have LOS to the target? Those would help a lot.

Also, firing directly isn't the best way to use an MLRS. It means the enemy can fire back too. It's way better to plot indirect fire using the bombardment screen.

Are you trying to hit a target with direct fire? If your unit has no LOS to target you cannot fire directly on that target. Artillery units allow the use of the bombardment tab on the side in-game which allows the set up of indirect fire missions on targets outside of the LOS. These strikes do not happen immediately, just as is the case in real life.
