The good tips won't come from the US players that already got it though but from those players who were in the beta.
QM, the best Dominions 2 player, is in the beta.

Not asking any questions now, just discovering for myself while playing the Dominions 2 demo, tide me over until my pre-ordered Dom3 comes.

U guys should really advertise, I might have discovered Dominions sooner...

Read the manual. Even we haven't got our hands on it yet, but if you've read Bruce Geryk's walkthrough (guide to Dom2), you know that he can do fantastic guides. From what little I've seen, he is doing much, much, much better this time around. I think it will be a manual unparalled for years, worhsipped for decades, manual people see pleasant dreams of. Perhaps even a manual aspiring writers read for ideas.


Not asking any questions now, just discovering for myself while playing the Dominions 2 demo, tide me over until my pre-ordered Dom3 comes.

When you have Dom3 just come to the irc channel then. Most of the veterans are very friendly and give good advice then.
And playing some blitzes is the fastest way to learn the game http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
