View Full Version : New nation file
October 4th, 2006, 05:16 AM
This is the last version of my units file. Some nations are still missing (Ermor, Ctis, Pyhium, Mictlan, oceania I think), and I'll try to complete the collection when I have a chance. Please do not hesitate to contribute, or to report any mistake you see.

I will build my pretender calculator out of your file. Do you allow to post the whole file or parts of it into the dominions3 wiki ?
October 14th, 2006, 10:28 AM
We just crossed posts, I replied to one just below ("Unit list" thread)that talked about your same file, but on you Libray site !
You made a great job, and I'm happy to have contributed however lightly http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
Do you plan to update your Pretender calculator also ?

Thank you all for your encouragement and support. I'll try to complete the file as soon as possible.
Horst : as I said alredy, I'm a partisan of the free information - please post the file in your dom3wiki if useful (but you'll then be forced to check my site for the next versions!).
PDF : it was not "my" Pretender Calculator. Someone sent me the file but it was then only a draft IIRC, and never sent an official version. And unfortunately I deleted the first mail so I lost his address (and his name was not included in the file). I'm not able to oupdate this file, I'm not an Excel specialist... but Horst will probably do it http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

As far as i know a french guy made one excel sheet with pretender calculator (in french) for dom2, and i later made an somewhat different pretender calculator for dom2 in excel and openoffice.
sunray, why are some of the pretenders names in your nation file in red color ?
October 15th, 2006, 06:04 PM
SunRay I can pull a complete units list from the game if that would help you to compare for missing units.
October 16th, 2006, 09:29 AM
Gandalf : thanks for this suggestion, can you reduce the list to 'national' units only ?
Horst : the names in red = new pretenders chassis.
And I've added Sauromatia and Machaka in my file, see

Im afraid that I cant so national units only. There is nothing in the raw list which shows that. The list isnt sorted in anyway though. Its in the order that things were added so the nationals tend to group. Such as Arco is all together, then some monsters, then Ermor, then some monsters.
By the way, one of my majorly faorite points on "Lord of the Night" pretender for Mictlan didnt seem to be on there. That he is an assassin. (a flying stealthy titan-sized assassin that summons aid during the assassination. What more can you want?)
October 16th, 2006, 12:10 PM
A hoburg assassin, for the the additional embarassment factor?
October 16th, 2006, 01:51 PM
Gandalf : the "assassin" quality of the Lord of the Night is mentionned in the last cell (under "comments"). For the list : if you cannot isolate the national units, thanks but I've the list already (made a file with all units, from nr 1 to 1600+), that make me think that I should add this file to my website http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

My pleasure, guys. Thanks all. Now, if you want to contribute... Mictlan and Marignon are still missing http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

A Sunray could perfectly complement a Solar Disc, indeed !

Now added Mictlan EA (and her terrific summons, she seems the most powerful nation of the era) and Pythium.
