Let's say that the unit is a big one and he has a Robe of Shadows, Amulet of Luck and the Bracers. He can also cast Astral Shield and Astral Weapon. These are by no means final equipment but are easy to make. He can also cast Quicken self but I haven't researched it yet. He has somewhat high base def thanks to several picks in Water magic.
Which one of the weapons would you pick? WB gives you three attack per rounds while Sword of Swiftness gives 2 attacks and leaves a slot free for a shield. Other options include Frost Brand, Fire Brand (found one!) or perhaps a sassy Glaive of Doom.
EDIT: I should say that my choice of shield is pretty restriced. Lucky Coin or Black Steel Kite Shield...

IIRC multiply attack with the weapon eats extra fatique equal to number attack times melee fatique.
If this is the case, I would avoid such multiply attack weapons like a plague in your SC setup, since you have no way of getting rid of fatique.

Well, his encumberance is only 3 or so...
And he gets a Life Drain Tentacle attack too. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

If you are talking about Dom3 then there is no Astral Weapon anymore.

I'd go for SoS plus Lucky Coin, free the Amulet slot and put whatever else (Ring of Regen maybe).
In fact given your research I'd go for anything + Lucky Coin.
BS Kite Shield is, well, not very good IMHO as its name implies http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif .

That would help.
I would go with sos than, from the selection that you've described.

Unless it's changed in Dom3, this is completely incorrect. Units gain their full encumbrance worth of fatigue for every complete set of attacks they make. The quickness spell allows an extra set of attacks, which cause another amount of fatigue equal to the encumbrance of the unit. Having multiple weapons, or weapons that have multiple attacks has no effect on fatigue.

If you know it was sure, than you are probably right. As I said in my post, I wasn't 100% sure. Thanks for correction.
