I was toying around with hosting a set of newbie games like I did for dom2. Are there enough interested new players out there? Post here and let me know.

Eh ... define newbie ... since we're all newbies to dom III. =) I'd be interested mainly because I haven't had much time to experiment with dom III yet but I'm hardly newbie in dom II.

If you get two blitzes a day in, you aren't a n00b anymore. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
As far as skill and strategy are concerned though... I probably count.

Well, I am signed up for two games, but have yet to play any dominions in MP yet. So I would be interested in playing a noobie game =)

Count me in too. If you post some details, like early/middle or late.
This would be my 2nd dominions3 game, and in the first one it's only turn 7, so I think I'm still a n00b.
P.S.: If we would play Early, I would try Yomi, Oni Kings. The game titled Oni used to be my favorite a few years ago.

I've played dom2 for a while, but I sucks quite a bit, so I think I qualify as a newbie.
And I'm interested too http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

I've only played one turn of multiplayer dominions. A newbie game sounds fun, I'd definately be interested.

I've never played MP and I'm up for it!
Request R'Lyeh or another water nation so I can continue my SP strategy of turtling in the water and ignoring everybody.

I am a noob to Dom3, and never played Dom2, But I played a lot of Dom1, so i am not completely inept.

Since i rarely if ever get to blitz and have rather poor skills i shall consider myself 'noobed' until otherwise instructed. For EA (if i can play at all) i want neifelheim/abysia(depending on what other people would like probably), for MA i'll try ulm and for LA a little holiday in dreamland would be nice.
This is all supposing I (veteran of roughly 3 blitz games...) can play.

Ok, it looks like there is enough interest so I will try putting it together this weekend. Keep your eyes out for a new post for it. The new game would be Networked 24hr quickhost probably scaling to 48hrs as time went on. To clarify some terminology for any new players:
24hr quickhost: New turn will be generated when all players have submitted thier orders OR 24hrs have elapsed from the last turn.
Networked: New turns are recieved by connecting to the server, playing your turn, and then disconnecting (until the next turn is up). You do not need to be constantly connected to the server (as you would in a blitz).

Changed my mind, Onis are not my desk.
I would like to ask for:
Niefelheim (Early)
Jotunheim (Middle)
Utgard (Late)

Im sure all the details (age, provinces etc) will be hammered out in the new thread with the actual game. Claiming nations now is a bit premature.
... that aside, I call Abysia http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

If there is any place still open I would like to join as well. I'm a newbie and not very good at this game and the other newbies can use me as a punching bag.

Hahahah, yes claiming nations is quite premature. I do appreciate your eagerness tho. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Here is the main game post:
Newbie Game EA (http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/threads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=460650&page=0&view=collap sed&sb=5&o=&fpart=&vc=#Post460650)
Start claiming your nations in that thread.
