I got a random event stating that Brogy and his band of adventurers decided to help a wise old man, who's daughter was taken by my men as a Blood Slave. They launched a daring raid on my laboratory and rescued a few of the Blood Slaves.

So, there you have it. I was robbed by a group of heroes on one of the most cliche adventures ever heard of. I'm not sure why this one tickled my funny bone so much, but I thought I'd share it.

Yeah. Bogus & Co are inspired by an old pen&paper RPG party. They have a set of unique items, and most curious commands... You haven't felt horror until you realize that Troll Archer with Longbow of Accuracy is still targeting your magic-users...

Getting attacked by Bogus and Company isn't terrible if they don't route, it's easy to overwhelm them and you get lots of magical goodies.

Yea, the thing that most annoys me is the archer and dark knight going for my commanders, not that dangerous most of the time but setting bodyguards gets annoying.

I just send a bunch of mound kings to lead them or indie commanders. I took down bogus with Ctis /nationals/ last time I recalled. And they're not too great =). (Though hordable hehe)

Hm. Has Bogus been improved to compensate for the weakening of weapon-based lifedraining? If not, that's a pretty big hit he's taken.

Bogus is not that tough anymore. Back in the day, I saw him tank hundreds of units, not so much now. I've last seen Bogus in the "Are we paying more for less" thread.

Provided your loyal men don't start having nightmares. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/evil.gif

I don't have any background on this series, but it seems to me Bogus shouldn't be able to take on that many, considering he's just a random event. At any rate, this makes it easier to mind-control him. He's going to end up a Wight before I'm done...

Is it still possible to copy the "Attack Mages" command if you enslave one of them?

I went to great pains to charm them all. You cannot order "fire commanders". At least not once he has Vision's foe.

You sure he's just not attacking rear, Caine?
