I mean, these units just kick ***, and with even "only" a F4W9 bless an half dozen of them can take indy provinces without one loss. Just put a few more of'em if facing heavy cav...
And then they're not even capitol-only, whereas the rather worse Valkyries are ?
This means that hundreds are recruitable, I can't imagine how one can deal with that.
Is that a major balance issue, a bug or it's just me ?

It was the same in dom2 IIRC. Vanheim has already 4 units, including their only good cheap mages capital only, so IW may have wanted to keep them something useful to build in other forts (IMO, non capital only Dwarven Smith or Fay Boars but capital only Vans would have been better anyway).
(edit : Walkyries have glamour too, so better be them capital only)
But the best answer would be a global nerf of glamour in battles (ie : don't work out of melee or only work against ranged weapons), then all ***heim nations won't be overpowered.

Rather than nerf Glamour, I would like to see a mechanic introduced that is very effective versus glamour units. Then this new mechanic can be given to a few of the nations that are considered weak at the moment.

Wouldn't do much in combat. Out of combat - you'd stealth around like crazy. In combat, it will take about twice as many attacks to lose your first hit point. Dont think that helps much at all.
