As it said units w/ SotS is more powerful & gains more HP during spring. What i wanna ask is, is "this unit is more weaker and loses hp durning other seasons" the unmentioned part of this ability?

Lost a battle just now coz' all my Red Guards' hp are reduced to a ridiculous 6 and it's now early winter. Lower than Longdead Horseman, and that's a 65G 38R unit, Woooooooo.

Is there any other reason causes a unit's HP to decrease(worldwide...checked my capitol and found all of them at 6), a bug, or just by design?

checked manual but the answer's simply nowhere to be found:(

I pretty certain that thier strengh is cyclic. Weak during Autumn and strong during Spring, and somewhere in betwen during summer and winter.

The HP decrease/increase based on seasons is by design.

This flexing in hitpoints means you'll have to attack when they have high hitpoints and use another army to attack when they have low hitpoints.

If I am remembering correctly, the various seasonal spirits and beasties all get bonuses in their own appropriate seasons.

that is they all get penalties outside their seasons http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif
recruit expensive baseHP 12 units and end up having them died to indy archers with 6hp's really, eh, feeling bad.

it can be better if we saw a "penalties apply*" in ability edsc. ^^

Eh, you just need to conserve them during the off seasons. At least it's predictable, not like it went off a random number, or (almost as bad) dominion which fluctuates back and forth.
