Hello, I'm a new Dom3 players looking for other beginners to play together. I'm playing in one game already, and I want to try another.

I'm interestend in a game for 5-7 players, with default settings, whatever era everyone likes the best.
I'd ask for only new or semi-new players for this game, not those that consider themselves 'veterans'.

We can decide the details democratically. Everyone that wishes to join, please post:

Era you'd prefer to play.
Factions you are willing to play, you can choose more than one.
Do you want to 'roleplay' or not.

Me:
I'd vote for late era.
I'd play Ulm, or if I can't, then Man or R'lyeh.
(if we play middle era, i'd play Agharta, Man or Vahneim)
(if we play early era i'd play Marverni, Ulm or R'lyeh)

I'm fine with roleplaying and writing a report from the game.

Hi, I would like to join.
Late era will suit me too, I am not bothered to be honest.
I can pick any nation apart from ermor, arco and water ones... anyway, I am still flexible.
And I would enjoy roleplay as well.
I never played mp game like this, just some games with my mates on LAN... I am rather a new player.

Teraswaerto

*cries*

Why are all the new games newbie games?

I'm new, honest. Never played a single Dom3 MP past turn 12. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/stupid.gif

Agrajag

Well, if you'll accept me I'd like to play.
I'm not really a newb, but having played only one MP game (that is, I'm still playing it. And doing quite badly), I would definitely not consider myself a veteran.
If you'll agree to accept me then my votes are:
Middle Era - I'm a bit sick of Early Era, and Late Era is not newb friendly.
RP is great, as long as we decide on some rules in advance, like is metagaming allowed? (For example, one player could RP a battle another player would otherwise not know about, would you consider it fair for that other player to attack the first player knowing he is weak from that battle?)
Either way, I think I'd like to play Pangaea, as I have almost never played them http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Hullu

This would be my first multiplayer so count me in.

I'd vote for early era (but anything goes) since I mostly have experience on it.

If it's late era I have close to zero experience so 'anything goes'. Tho I'd guess Ulm would be closest to having experience there. But I can decide later (or try a SP game before this starts). I don't care for roleplaying as such, though it's doable if majority wants it.

Early era: Ulm, Kailasa
Med era: anything goes
Late era: anything goes

CelestialGoblyn
November 23rd, 2006, 06:40 PM
Okay! I'm fine with players that are a bit more advanced, Teraswaerto and Agrajag.
There's five of us already, but I'll wait if we can get a sixth player perhaps.

Teraswaerto
November 23rd, 2006, 06:57 PM
I would very much like to play, but so that there is no misunderstanding: I did play several Dom2 MP games two years ago, although not with great success. I wouldn't consider myself a veteran like several people on these boards are.

If that is ok, I vote:

A resounding YES to RP, if you mean in character diplomacy and such.
Middle or Late era, preference Middle.
Anything goes as far nations, I'll pick something no-one else wants.

WSzaboPeter
November 23rd, 2006, 07:11 PM
Count me in as a 6th... I love role playing, so that's a definite yes.
Era... Anything but early... I'm in two games, both early. I would like to try some late era nations.
If late era my priority will be: Man if not available, then Arcoscephale.
If middle... Caelum, then Man.

CelestialGoblyn
November 23rd, 2006, 07:36 PM
Well, if you say that late era is not newb-friendly, I am willing to switch my vote to middle.
Hullu, would I count you as voting for Middle? WSzaboPeter?

And we are agreed to roleplay, that's good. No one has to write reports or such, but we assume we play the roles of the nations rulers. The extent of roleplay is up to choice.

If we're agreed on Med, then I'll pick Aghartha.
So far it looks:
CelestialGoblyn-Agharta
Hako-undecided
Agrajag-Pangea
Hullu-undecided
Teraswaerto-undecided
WSzaboPeter-undecided
MindElemental-Man
Saarud-Abysia

Pick your nations. After I added you to the list, create a pretended with 'game tools' and send him/her/it to me.

wilf@oliwa.multicon.pl is my main e-mail. If it fails, please use gobly4001@yahoo.com

Mind Elemental
November 23rd, 2006, 09:59 PM
I'll be 7th, if there's a slot still open!

I'd prefer Late, but my second choice would be for Early.

My choice of nations would be:

Early: Arco
Mid: Man
Late: Man

I'm fine with RP. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

CelestialGoblyn
November 23rd, 2006, 10:06 PM
Right. So what are people's choices to era again?

hako
November 23rd, 2006, 10:21 PM
I will say middle era than, and I will pick monkey people... Bandar Log in this case.

Mind Elemental
November 23rd, 2006, 10:33 PM
Late, please.

Are we going to use 3.00 until 3.02 comes out, by the way? I think that would be the best idea, what with the hunter of heroes bug -- nobody would want to get his/her pretender chomped on turn 10.

(I'm playing a comp stomp with a couple of friends, but this would be my first 'real' MP game.)

ETA - If we go Late, it looks like WSzabo has already claimed Man. For Late, my second choice would be Jomon. For Mid, my first choice is still Man. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

WSzaboPeter
November 23rd, 2006, 11:13 PM
Okey, if middle Caelum. (But my vote was late.)

Saarud

I'm a newbie. Surely is and anyone meeting me on the battlefield should agree with me. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Middle era is good and I vote for that.
My first Choice would be Abysia, 2nd Ulm and 3rd Ermor

Saarud
November 24th, 2006, 03:32 AM
Yeah and I think some kind of roleplaying should be mandatory, that doesn't mean we should overdo it but some report from everyone in the thread every turn would make the game alot more fun... atleast to me. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Its mostly that there are none-noob-friendly nations around, like crazy Rlyeh, or freespawning Ermor http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
And the tougher indies probably don't help :X

Also, remember that I almost never played Pangaea SP, and never in MP, so don't be surprised if I keel over quickly http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

RP is fine, mandatory reports I'd vote against.

Middle era is fine by me. The only middle I've ever played even SP is Abysia so I'd perhaps like that.

When are we aiming to start? Since I could use a little time checking out the middle nations so I could make a pick I'm not going to regret early:)

Tho if we want to 'rush' it, Abysia goes nicely.

Ok I'll think of another nation.

Meanwhile would be interesting to know of the approximate starting schedule (in other words, do I have any time to check through the middle era nations).

CelestialGoblyn
November 24th, 2006, 10:15 AM
Accepting no more players, sorry!

Okay, counting the votes, it's middle, even if I would change my vote back to late.

I will begin the game when everyone sends me their pretenders, but not earlier than in 10 hours from now. If anyone wants to take time to prepare, go ahead.

Roleplaying:No one needs to write reports from their actions at all. Myself I'll probably write a report every *year* of game, which means every 4 turns. Writing 2-3 sentences about your pretender is also optional, though I probably will.

And as for the patch, I already have 3.01 and I can offer to re-host a turn if anyone gets hit by the hunter bug. Remember that the patch does fix a lot of other stuff...

Nations are as follows:
CelestialGoblyn-Agharta
Hako-Bandar Log
Agrajag-Pangea
Hullu-undecided
Teraswaerto-undecided
WSzaboPeter-Caelum
MindElemental-Man
Saarud-Abysia

Hullu
November 24th, 2006, 10:22 AM
I'll have to get home and upgrade to 3.01 and decide on a nation and design a pretender. It'll be hard to make it in 10 hours, but I'll give it a shot, worst case for me is around 20 hours if my floorballbuddies force me to sip a dozen beers after the game...:)

Hullu
November 24th, 2006, 10:22 AM
Oh, isn't one year twelve turns?

And how often are we going to host a turn?

CelestialGoblyn
November 24th, 2006, 10:27 AM
I am going to host as soon as I get everyone's turns. The deadline will be 24 hours, so if I don't get everyone's turn in 24 from hosting, i'm moving forward.

If anyone will ask me to extend the deadline, I'll do so. I can also have 48 hour deadline if you all prefer.

I received all your pretender files and I'm ready to set up. I'm just making mine. I should have asked about the map choice earlier.

Information how to play a PBEM game:
1)Go to your savedgames folder and create a folder in it for the PBEM game. Name it as you wish.
2)After you will receive a .trn file, put it into that folder, start dom3 and play it like a normal game.
3)After making a turn and ending it, go to your folder again. There should be a filed with a .2h extension there and that's what you need to send back to me.

Hmm...(please don't be inimidated by the volume, i'm in a creative mood today)

*In a cavern, a vaguely humanoid figure hunches over a scroll of papyrus, holding a ragged quill.*

On the 16 day of 29 month of 11506 year, Mialm the historian begins writing his chronicle. Chronicle of the realm of Aghartha and it's claim for power.
Long is the Pantrokrator away from this world and now a voice calls from the deepest caverns. A whisper that calls the cave people to reclaim the glory of the past.
The old pale ones stir, single eyes stare around nervously. They were the first to feel the strange call, the musty breeze from the deepest caves...
The last and final blow of the wind of change.

*cut to the view of a forested valley trough which a group of soldiers marches*

Today a human returned from the deepest levels, from a place that is a mystery even to ancient oracles. He shined with power and confidence that no one would expect from a mere member of a human race.

*cut to a man wrapped in leather armour, wearing a thick black cloak.*

He and the ancient oracles debated for four whole days in a sealed chamber. A secret was revealed, bought from the whisperer in the depths. Next day the whole Agarthan army was mobilized and marched forward.

*cut to huge-eyed humans in armour, marching in lockstep trough fir woods behind the black robed man. They soon step out of the forest...*

On an open dry plain, two forces of men were nearing each other with the intent to kill.
One of the forces was composed of men defending their homeland, defiant against invaders they considered no more than greedy thugs.
The other force was better disciplined and had blessing from one that would call himself a god.

Mialm the chronicler writes:
"Humans living above ground would be worthy foes, if they were not divided. In a direct confrontation of equally sized forces, Agharthan shield-wall and superior training prevails over their often lackluster forces. Yet the unit I am accompanying is too small to take the fight further. We are told that the riches from caves bought us a unit of mercenaries to join us in a few days. I can only hope the scum do not plan to just take the gold and take off. I do not trust humans from above the ground, and so do many oracles."

Falahd is life, and Falahd is death, and swamps are a manifestation of his will. In them are combined death and life, the rotting vegetation and decaying corpses, and the seething creatures that bubble in the murky waters.

His breath billows out from the sacred water and touches all. In some his touch is made manifest as death, and in some, as life. Both are equally blessed. There is no reason to fear, and all earthly suffering pales in comparison to the glorious afterlife you will partake in if you but embrace his aspect.

When we first encountered followers of false gods, my reaction was that of outrage. How dare these abominations claim lordship over the mortal children of Falahd?

The whips of the Taskmasters were put to work: holy war was upon us. Or so I though, but just as the screaming horde of flesh-hungry slaves was ready to march out, eager to devour the false priests, I heard the voice of Falahd. He told me that he is a god of peace, a god love, and one day the priests and followers of false gods will accept that without the need for violence.

Why have not one, but two large Caelian armies, one of which is crammed with mammoths, moved to our borders?

In all fairness, one of these armies is placed where it could strike at Abysia as well as Man, so perhaps we are not the intended target. Perhaps this second army is just there to deter us from coming to Abysia's aid -- divide and conquer at its best.

WSzaboPeter

I beg your pardon, but those Mammoth herds where only looking for some food. You know how hard is to feed 57 mammoths? Well, it's near impossible. I can assure everyone that attacking us is very unwise. Mostly for the sole reason that my armies are very mobile, so I can keep a smaller number of armies, in the other hand Caelum is the best siege army if I recall correctly.
Greetings of peace from Dream Slayer, God of the Clouds
P.S.: Well mostly, for one nation there could be no peace with Caelum.

Impossible!
Pangaean lookouts have spotted the nation of Arcoscephale levying the local population to fuel their own war machine, and on the borders of Pangaea no less!
Since there were relations of peace between Pangaea and Arcoscephale so far, Pangaea will give them 3 turns to prove that they are not a nation ruled by tyrrany.
Should Arcoscephale not prove to be a friend to the people and to mother nature in 3 turns, they can expect to be wiped off the face of the sacred earth.

A year has passed since the God came to Avalon, and it has been good. The armies of Man have seen to it that the God's banner flies over the neighbouring lands, and trade has flourished side-by-side with magic and worship. Even the strange races nearby, worshippers of other Gods, were not too much cause for concern. But now...

The word is everywhere. Monks whisper it at refectories, tower guardsmen chatter about it in messhalls, bards embellish it with every song.

War has come to Man.

Caelians have poured over the frontier, but winged men with ice weapons have not aroused near so much comment as the giant woolly mammoths they ride. So far dozens of mammoths have been seen, and terrified militiamen from the fallen provinces testify to their near-invulnerability as they trample all beneath them.

Now the witches, castellans, and monks huddle together with the God in conference, even the crones coming out of their seclusion. Messengers race off to every corner of the kingdom, bearing orders and missives...

I beg your pardon, but I had to choose between famine in the ranks of our belowed furry friends (called mammoths by mankind), or to find some new sources of green leaves or anything eatable. We had no intentions of roasting our mammoths, so we avoided Abyssian lands. The only path remaind possible were leading towards the forests of Avalon... They contain lots of food for peacefull herbivores , hence the name of forests. If your man decided to hunt down the herds, that's your misstake, since they tend to dislike being hunted, and in that case they will trample trough ranks of heavy infantry with ease.

Robed figures walked trough the sun-scorched plains, hoods pulled over their heads. Agarthan mystics were not just hiding from the light of the day. One of them was limping visibly and another could not walk without the aid of his staff.
"The lizards hiss about peace, Mynal."
One turned to the other.
"But after the first contact of our woodsmen with their scouts, the plagues began."

The mystic chased away a fly that tried to get under his cowl. The flies were drawn to the smell...
Of disease!

From Kajolm of Agartha to Lulal'kurdu of C'tis:
You speak of peace, yet every day we and all lands feel mark of the disease you carry in yourself. You are best to keep away from the borders, maintain a healthy distance.
We Agarthans are very slow to anger, we lived for tens of thousands years and will not provoke war without a good reason.
But if more chants will be offered to gods of noxious swamps, our sages predict nature itself will punish you much better than Agartha ever could.
You will reap what you sow, as many others that we saw trough the millenia.

"Intolerable!" exclaims Teva.
"The Arcoscephalians, not satisfied with merely imposing a strict levy on the poor populace in ##### ####, have started a war against nature itself!"
A note in front of him writes, in shaky handwriting: "A conflict took place in province ###, where forces of ########## battled against forces of Arcoscephale. The ########### army eventually prevailed."
"These acts will not go unprovoked. The nation of Arcoscephale will suffer."
After a few moments of thoughts, Teva ammends: "They'll suffer badly. Sadly we will only be able to attack them honorably after the promised 3 turn period."

I submitted turn 13, but like I said previously, I won't be able to make another turn for alteast 48 more hours, most probably 72 hours.

To God of Man,
I wish to offer peace. In exchange I will only need that castle that is very close to my capital, and you built it a few turns ago. That act was considered hostile by me (and by my mammoths too, as far as one can tell). That resulted in loosing a few provinces in your side. (I don't know the exact numbers yet.) If you think that this loss is enough, then you are welcome to case fire and surrender the beforementioned keep. If you don't agree my terms, I won't stop until your capital. And remember if you somehow manage to kill my roaming mammoth hordes, you will not be able to deal with my flying armies razing your lands, and cousing havok. If you agree peace for at least a year, then we may even consider mutual non agression pact or alliance in best case.

Hurg, the god of Arcoscephale wakes from his long slumber only to find his nation in distress. After centuries of sleep this will be difficuly to tolerate. The unwarranted aggression from the Bandar Log, and the seeming hostile attitude of the Pangaea will require a swift response.

As was mentioned in a meeting between Rhigmos the prophet and Hurg - a way of peace was attempted, but apparently such a plan no longer exists.

Hurg picks up his great forge hammer, limps forward on his crippled leg. This means war.

Mind Elemental
December 15th, 2006, 06:57 PM
Good question. What are the files the game needs to host, the .trn, the .2h, and the ftherland? You have the 2hs and the trns in your inbox/outbox respectively, so it's the ftherland that's the problem.

I cannot stress what a huge disadvantage staling that turn has put me at -- so does anyone have any ideas?

EDIT - Can we try just using the old 2h and .trn files, plus the new ftherland? I'm not sure the ftherland file changes from turn to turn, so it's worth a try.

CelestialGoblyn
December 15th, 2006, 07:25 PM
I'll try to right now. If it won't work, we have to somehow make it fair for you, ME.

CelestialGoblyn
December 15th, 2006, 07:30 PM
Using the old .2h files seems to do nothing.
This might be a stupid idea, but what if I'd host the current turn with only you moving? So that way everyone would lose a single move.

Mind Elemental
December 15th, 2006, 07:50 PM
Did you use the old trn files as well, though? I think you might have to use them and the 2h files together.

The problem with that is that my losses were much, much worse than I could recover in a single turn. (I would have taken some losses anyway - but as it is, I'm almost out of the game.)

hako
December 15th, 2006, 08:00 PM
Well... Man being attacked cannot just miss the turn. Graphs now just show his army is gone. Maybe ask some veterans if any chance to rehost?

CelestialGoblyn
December 15th, 2006, 08:41 PM
What i'm doing now is putting both .trn and .2h files for turn 15 into the directory. It shows all of you as having turn 15, but as you didn't make any moves.

Mind Elemental
December 15th, 2006, 09:50 PM
Hm. Does that mean all of us would stale turn 15, but then turn 16 would go on without a problem?

EDIT - Although, if all our 2h files are in the folder, I don't see why the game wouldn't recognise our moves.

CelestialGoblyn
December 15th, 2006, 09:52 PM

Mind Elemental
December 16th, 2006, 01:50 AM
Okay, I tested it with a hotseat game. Goblyn, if you rehost using the 2h and trn files from turn 15, it WILL work despite the fact it shows us as not having any moves. What happens is, turn 15 will work fine, all of us except you will stale turn 16, and turn 17 will be back to normal.

In other words, if you yourself don't do any moves on turn 16, we should all be fine. The only problem is, we won't be able to rehire mercenaries or give orders on turn 16 (I see a bunch of them will have to be rehired on turn 16), but I think that's a small price to pay. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

EDIT - We'll probably also miss the turn 16 battle reports, if any. Still, at least the battles will work. Might be a good idea to back up the whole folder for this turn.

As far as I can see, nothing changed and even got worse as everyoune staled 3 turns... for me that means disased starving troops, wasted reseach, and boost of gold... I can still play, cause that game is realy interesting, but I was wondring if it wasn't better just to continue while having the previous situation. But I am wondering what MindElemental's gonna say?

Mind Elemental
December 18th, 2006, 06:02 PM
Hmm. Did everyone's orders for turn 15 work right?

It looks like my turn 15 orders still didn't go through and I staled that turn -- like Hako, I ended up researching the wrong thing -- and now on top of that I also have diseased troops. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Since it looks like I still have the original problem, I think I'm with hako -- maybe we should just revert to the original situation, although WSzaboPeter would have to cease fire for a few turns to give me time to rebuild the losses that resulted from staling.

Teraswaerto
December 18th, 2006, 06:19 PM
Can we still revert back? If we can, that's fine. But let's just please start doing turns normally again either from the file we have now or from the old turn (which CelestialGoblyn will have to resend to me at least, if we do that).

hako

I still got the turn sent in the first case.

WSzaboPeter
December 18th, 2006, 06:42 PM
Mind Elemental, I offered you peace many times. A 3 turn peace means that my attack force will suffer very badly from starvation, you will make some troops, but not enough and you gain almost nothing, while I weaken myself. Not to mention that this stale thing put me in a bad situation, but then again, that's past.

But since your loss was unlucky I offer you a very last chance for a long term peace, effective from the next turn. (I sent my orders.) According to this I will NOT attack you for two years, and you will agree the same. Moreover, you will give that fort two squares from my capital to me in the next turn by setting the defenders to flee and break the siege. I don't wish any other provinces, only those I already conquered from you and will conquer in this turn. I you think you need some provinces badly I agree to trade them with other provinces on 1:1 basis. I think that is a fair peace, since otherwise you would loose all your provinces.

CelestialGoblyn
December 18th, 2006, 06:47 PM
Mind Elemental, I sent you another try at hosting from turn 15. If that won't work then I'm quite unsure what to do.
Also, it's labelled as turn 19 now. I can revert to turn 18 but I have no backups from before that.

Teraswaerto
December 18th, 2006, 07:03 PM
Let's just go on the last file you sent us all, which is 18, right?

Yes this sucks, but we all got stales. I wish I'd been so lucky to have mages researching the wrong school, I had several doing nothing at all after doing rituals or moving around the turn before.

Mind Elemental
December 18th, 2006, 07:20 PM
No joy, Goblyn. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif At this stage, I'll go with whatever the rest of you want.

WSzaboPeter, if I'm reading you correctly, your proposal would essentially permanently leave you with the gains from my stale (two provinces plus the fort that I was trying to break siege at), right?

CelestialGoblyn
December 18th, 2006, 07:30 PM
I'm very sorry.
I can go with 18 then, myself I didn't even took loses from the way things progressed.
I can abide with any rules that everyone agrees on, if only you folks are fine with playing.

hako
December 18th, 2006, 07:32 PM
Any chances Goblyn we can get the turn 15 sent with MindElemental's turn not processed?

EDIT:

Ok, If its not possible - fine, we can go with that as it is, I'm ok:)
Any special rules than?

One more edit:
I will submit my turn today at about 21:00 GMT + 0, London time. Sory for this delay... work, work, work :/

With his armies, Hurg makes a last stand against the Elephant horde of the Bandar Log in the fields next to the Capital Castle.

Although the mages and Hurg himself do all they can, the battle is a bitter defeat, enough battlefield magic wasn't researched and no troops at all could hold away the elephant horde of the Bandar Log.

The last of the Arcoscephale to stand and fight is Hurg, and finally even the pretender himself has to give up when surrounded by the tusks of a fierce elephant horde. The hammer from his hands makes a thud crashing on the ground - never again shall it see a forge, and never again shall it be wielded be Hurg, the forge lord.

Thus ends the tale of the Arcoscephale, while tales of other nations are just beginning.

((Will do my turn in a while))
With the end of the oppression of Arcoscephale, the nation of Pangaea rejoices.
Maenads and satyrs litter the streets, dancing, singing, drinking, laughing and expressing their love towards the nation of freedom, Pangaea.
In a moment of joy, Teva, he of many titles declared a national holiday to commemrate the fall of yet another tyrannous reign, though the decleration had only a minor effect since the celebrations would have merited a holiday anyway.
With Arcoscephale gone, the eye of Pangaea now wanders in its watch for other reigns of evil.

Hunger was so extreme we couldnt hold them on. There was no other way, we had to send them to this rich, abounding with food land. You must forgive us Great Mother... many lives are gone. We never realised that it will lead to such a rampage, they just overrun the whole village, I've seen people trying to climb on the trees, but they were wresting them with roots, people were falling like mature apples. Surprisingly some local milita appeared, they tried to stop those beasts, but only managed to get them berserk, we couldny get into as they could also kill us.

Messages from south sounded more and more drastic. Cruel magic of winged people turned living earth into a frozen wasteland. Armies of Man couldn't hold overcomming frost, battle was lost...
Forces of Nature couldn't look at that anymore. Suplies were gethered, armies started to march south to the frozen lands bringing hope to suffering people of Man.

Yeah, no problem, christmas is merit enough for some delay in turn-submitting http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
Oh, and BTW, I'll be unable to make a turn 4.1-8.1 :X

In a feat of tactical brilliance, a large part of the Agarthan invading army has been wiped out. They clashed with our elite Swamp Guard, under the command of the most glorious King Shalim, and soon routed.

What the poor fools did not realize however, was that there was no place to run to, as a second force, under the leadership of Etim, exalted Hero and King, had outmaneuvered them.

Now the pallid monstrosities cover in fear. The freak they worship is cursed, and soon their race will be forever extinguished.

Falahd is a god of peace, but his servants will not hesitate to defend the glory with arms should anyone enter the holy lands in anger!

I got all your turns and hosted.
But there's this problem now. Abysia's (LeSquide's) .trn file was not generated.
Saarud, did you by any chance switch your nation to AI or something?
Anynone knows what could be the cause of a .trn file not getting generated?

Teraswaerto
January 8th, 2007, 02:05 PM
Well, he did say "I'm setting myself to AI in the turn I am sending back", so if you used that .2h file then Abysia is now AI. Would make sense.

Mind Elemental
January 8th, 2007, 06:08 PM
I don't think that's it - if he set himself AI last turn, he would have showed up on AI in the player list this turn. I think he meant he'd set himself AI this turn if we didn't find a substitute - but we used LeSquide's file, not his.

Again i'm sorry for my technical ineptitude with Dom3.
