Game with MA Oceania, pretender with E9W9 blessing

Thanks to an event, I got a staff of corrosion. Lacking offensive magic at this point, I look at my recruitable commanders to see wich one should have the staff.

Seeing an impressive 12 precision on the Trident Lord (the commander version of the sadred Ichtycentaurs), I gave him the staff, with order to cast spells.

During a battle, as he wa blessed with quickness 50%, I saw him casting the item spell (acid bold) 2 times each other round.

I didn't try with the spell quickness, but if it work with the W9 blessing, I suppose it should work with any other form of quickness (spell, heroic ability)

I don't know if it's a bug (as casting a spell should not be possible several times with quickness any more), or a feature (if you think casting a spell from an item more like a special ranged attack (such as firing a bow))

From my point of view it's a good thing : spell casting from items is limited to some specific spells, and I don't think it could became as broken as was the old quickness.

Of course I might have overlooked some broken combo.

This definitely works with items. I was getting to skellies per round with a skull tailsman (quicken self). In fact it seemed like my mage would sometimes cast a spell and make a skelton in a single turn.

Wow! I didn't know this. So quickness spell (or quickness from items) works with any spells castable from magic items? If so, that's very good to know, thanks!
